HISTORY OF THE NETWORK
The Network began meeting in 1998. It was formed by a small group of families who saw an opportunity to help each other continue to homeschool through high school in a Christ-centered environment.
These founding families were involved at Grace Church, which has always hosted The Network.
For the first few years, The Network looked like a traditional co-op, with parents sharing the teaching responsibilities. It gradually transitioned to offering more classes, with teachers who did not necessarily have a student within the group.
The Network has welcomed up to 150 students in its largest years.
Although there are many more educational options today than when The Network was founded, The Network continues to exist because of a belief in the value of an in-person, Christ-centered education, guided by teachers with expertise in their subject areas. The Network acknowledges and honors those "founding families" who first had this vision.
